The United States Civil War

Our country was at war with it's self this was the American civil war. The north and the south were fighting against slavery the south wanted slavery but the north didn't Lincoln's victory changed peoples mind. The north had a larger population. Most of the top military commanders that came from the south farms were cut off by the war. On September 17, 1862 it was the wars bloodiest day. Lincolns first affect was the proclamation. The war finally ended on the fourth of July. Tall man short speech big day, Lincolns speech was a impact on the world.
